So much for the “new” sofa

There comes a time when your new thing isn’t new anymore.

That thing is our new sofa.

We’ve been super careful around it.. No one is allowed to eat or drink on it. To keep it “new” for as long as possible.

Then you hear..

“Mama, I threw up on the new couch.”

Which turns out to be not as horrible as you imagined… It cleans up quite well and doesn’t leave any weird marks.

Then you hear…

“Mama, I cut the new couch.”

Sigh.. It’s definitely not new anymore.
